Amazon during the press conference in New York on Wednesday unveiled the much awaited Kindle Fire Android tablet with a price tag of just $200. The pre-ordering for the product has been started and will reach the customers on first come first serve basis till November. Along with the Kindle fire, Amazon also wrapped off the new versions of kindle eBook readers: standard Kindle for $79 that does not offer a touchscreen, $99 Kindle touch and Kindle touch 3G models for $149. The Amazon’s revelation produced a lot of curiosity among those whose still hesitate in buying the ipad2 which asks them for $499.

The all new Kindle Fire Android Tab is equipped with a 7-inch display with IPS (in-plane switching) technology and anti-reflective treatment, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution at 169 ppi and 16 million colors. It consists of 8GB internal memory enough for 100s of songs and eBooks downloading and gives a power backup of Up to 8 hours of continuous reading or 7.5 hours of video playback, with wireless off.
Kindle Fire can connect with Wi-Fi networks but will not ship with a 3G chip. Customers will also receive a 30-day trial to Amazon Prime when they purchase the Kindle Fire which allows customers to stream movies from Amazon’s Unbox service, which now offers content from FOX.
